Ah the cold! Ah the snow! Ah the horrible viruses from the daycare! Well, so far my family and I are surviving the winter blues...my husband wants to take down the Christmas tree because it's time, that's what normal people do, our friends are going to laugh at us, it's sloppy and reminds him of "Running with scissors". I say...this is my home and I am a bit weird, so what! My friends should know this. Everybody else...we will invite them after the end of January. That's when I intend to put my pretty shiny tree away. In other words, I am not lazy...I just crave the comfort of those bright branches until the days start getting long again! M

I thought I would just briefly pop up with some seasonal greetings and an update. All is well. I am actually drawing pretty consistently. My family has reached a good equilibrium that allows us to take care of work, of each other, and still have time for our old hobbies. My daughter has picked up drawing too and she loves her markers (she screams like a banshee when we try to put them away), so I am looking forward to watching her learn and discover ways of expressing herself. I finally had enough of opening my deviantart page and seeing the usual "On Vacation" announcement. Time for a new journal! I made it back from Italy, after a wonderful 3 weeks sojourn, I worked really hard In July and August (at the end of which I wished to go back on vacation for other 3 weeks), now my in laws are visiting and we are celebrating my birthday, our reunion, and Halloween. It's more relaxing, because my mother in law helps me with little Bella. We get to go out on dates, sleep until 9 in the morning in the weekend (what a blessing), and indulge in our hobbies (music for my husband, and drawing for me). I am enjoying fall and
